Job Description

ICNA Relief Canada (IRC) is a department of ICNA Canada that works in community
and social development. The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) is federally
registered as a charitable organization in Canada. We have built a widely respected
reputation through our community welfare work. IRC is dedicated to reaching out
at home and abroad through a wide range of aid and rehabilitation projects; in
particular, IRC endeavors to respond effectively to victims of natural disasters
internationally.

ICNA Relief Canada is hiring a Marketing Manager. As the Marketing Manager,
the role will be crucial in developing and implementing marketing strategies to
enhance ICNA Relief Canada’s visibility, attract supporters, and drive engagement
with our mission. You will oversee all marketing campaigns, digital and traditional
media efforts, and donor communications to promote our programs and initiatives
within the community and beyond.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to support
fundraising efforts, program initiatives, and awareness campaigns to
enhance ICNA Relief Canada’s presence in the market.
• Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, email
campaigns, social media, and online advertising, to maximize reach and
engagement while keeping the target audience in mind.
• Create compelling content for marketing materials, including newsletters,
press releases, blog posts, and social media posts, to effectively
communicate the charity’s mission and impact.
• Develop innovative ways to reach the target demographic in each market,
including technological advances, advertising, and market trends.
• Perform research on competitors and trends, share findings with the
integrated marketing team, and take the lead on creating projects that bring
in new revenue.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement donor
acquisition and retention strategies, including direct mail campaigns, donor
stewardship programs, and special events.
• Draft, manage, and track the annual marketing budget and plan with input
from stakeholders

• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess effectiveness
and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
• Engage with Islamic organizations, INGOs, charities, Islamic centers,
professional associations, and other groups to explore opportunities and
cultivate relationships.
• Use networking skills to broaden outreach, influence, and media presence
for ICNA Relief Canada.
• Design and manage public programs and events in concert with the
Marketing team.
• Oversee the design and production of promotional materials, ensuring
consistency with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
to keep the organization at the forefront of effective marketing strategies.
• Manage marketing budgets effectively, allocating resources appropriately to
achieve strategic objectives.
• Develop relationships with current and prospective donors, sponsors,
funding organizations, and Islamic Centers/Mosques.
• Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and speaking
engagements to promote awareness and engagement. Research and
identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships,
individual donors, and Mosque partnerships.

Requirements:
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Five to ten years of experience, preferably in the non-profit sector or related
field
• Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing
campaigns, including digital and traditional media.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including
SEO, SEM, social media analytics, and email marketing platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create
compelling content for diverse audiences.
• Experience in managing budgets and analyzing marketing performance
metrics.
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple
projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-have Skills:
• Knowledge of social media marketing strategies.
• Familiarity with influencer marketing tactics.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
Additional pay: Overtime pay
