Resource Centre Coordinator

Job Description

We seek an organized and proactive Resource Centre Coordinator to manage operations, fundraising, community outreach, and client services while promoting ICNA Relief’s domestic and international initiatives through traditional, conventional, and digital platforms.

Work Location: Winnipeg, MB

Pay: Commensurate with the experience

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee Resource Centre operations, fundraising activities, and promotion of ICNA Relief programs.

 Assist with annual planning, budgeting, and strategic program development for the Resource Center.

 Assess client needs and coordinate social support services, including settlement and education programs.

 Plan and manage community workshops, awareness programs, and quarterly events.

 Build partnerships with mosques, government bodies, and community organizations.

 Lead donor outreach, research funding opportunities, and coordinate fundraising campaigns.

 Maintain accurate records of clients, volunteers, events, donations, and expenses.

 Prepare monthly and annual reports, grant proposals, and funding applications.

 Recruit and manage volunteers, assign duties, and support engagement activities.

 Support administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency and deliver on organizational goals.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Non-profit Management, or a related field.

 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, community outreach, or non-profit fundraising in the non-profit sector will be considered an asset and is preferred.

 Strong skills in event planning, partnership building, and volunteer management.

 Proficiency with social media management, CRM systems, and fundraising tools.

 Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.

 Knowledge of Muslim community services, settlement programs, and Islamic charitable practices.

 Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
