We seek a proactive Regional Development Coordinator to strengthen donor relationships, drive regional fundraising, promote domestic programs, and expand community outreach through traditional, conventional, and digital platforms.
Work Location: Montreal, Ottawa, and Kingston Region
Pay: Commensurate with the experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, mosques, Islamic centers, and community organizations.
- Lead fundraising campaigns and events, managing outreach, logistics, volunteer coordination, and follow-up.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Promote programs through community events, educational initiatives, and publicity efforts.
- Oversee Resource Center operations, ensuring service delivery aligns with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with teams to expand program awareness and support local outreach initiatives.
- Develop plans and budgets for regional programs and fundraising activities.
- Track fundraising progress, maintain donor records, and prepare reports.
- Perform administrative tasks and support broader organizational goals as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fundraising, Non-profit Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or community outreach, preferably in the non-profit sector, will be preferred and considered an asset.
- Strong skills in event management, partnership development, and volunteer coordination.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, fundraising tools, and digital marketing platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of Muslim community dynamics and Islamic charitable giving seasons.
