The Islamic Circle of North America-Canada (ICNA Canada) is pleased to announce that the holy month of Ramadan will begin on Saturday, March 1, 2025, and the first day of Shawwal (Eid ul Fitr) will be Sunday, March 30, 2025.
ICNA Canada follows the position of the Fiqh Council of North America, which uses the criteria of the European Council of Fatwa and Research (ECFR).

ICNA Canada wishes the Muslim community across Canada and Muslims worldwide a happy Ramadan Kareem filled with joy. As we welcome this sacred month, we embrace the opportunity to draw closer to our Creator through fasting, worship, reflection, and giving.
In the challenging times that Muslims around the world are facing, we pray that May Allah swt alleviate the hardships and ease the pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters around the world, especially in Palestine.
